What the app stores, and where
Everything you enter — your habits, the days you log, your notes, targets and settings — is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded anywhere.
If you use the Apple Watch app, that information is also shared with your own paired Apple Watch, directly between your devices; it does not pass through us.
What we receive
Nothing. We have no servers, and the app has no way to transmit your habit data.
We cannot see your habits, and we could not retrieve them for you if you asked.
Purchases
Habit Grid Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple processes the payment and tells the app whether a purchase is active.
We never see your name, email address, or payment details, and we receive no personal information from Apple as part of that process.
Notifications
Habit reminders are scheduled by your device and delivered by your device. They are never sent from a server, and their contents never leave your iPhone.
Face ID and Touch ID
If you turn on app lock, authentication is performed entirely by iOS. Habit Grid never has access to your biometric data, and stores no password of its own.
Exporting your data
CSV and JSON exports are created on your device and shared only with whichever app or destination you choose at the moment you export.
Once a file leaves the app through the share sheet, it is governed by wherever you send it.
Children
Habit Grid is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app ever collects anything, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described here.
