Countly respects your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Tap Counter iOS application.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Countly is designed to work without collecting personal data.

We do not:

Require account registration
Collect your name, email, or contact details
Store personal identifiers on our servers
Track your location
Record what you count

All counting data and history are stored locally on your device only using Apple’s on-device storage technologies.

2. Advertising

The free version of Countly may display banner advertisements provided by third-party ad networks.

These ad providers may:

Collect limited device information
Use anonymous identifiers
Deliver personalized or non-personalized ads

This information is handled directly by the ad provider, not by Tap Counter.

3. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

If required by Apple, Countly will request permission to track activity across apps and websites for advertising purposes using Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.

You can:

Allow or deny tracking at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking

If you deny tracking:

Ads will still appear
They may be less personalized

4. In-App Purchases

Countly may offer a one-time purchase to:

Remove ads
Unlock premium features such as widgets or multiple counters

Payments are processed securely by Apple.
We do not receive or store your payment information.

5. Data Storage & Security

All user data (counts, history, settings) stays on your device.
We do not operate external servers for Countly.
Standard iOS security protections apply.

6. Children’s Privacy

Countly does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because no personal data is collected, the app is suitable for general audiences.

7. Third-Party Services

Countly may use:

Apple services for in-app purchases
Third-party advertising SDKs

These services may process data according to their own privacy policies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Updates will be posted with a new “Last updated” date.
